Below are photos taken at a site with interesting rock formations. If you have information on the site or have an opinion as to the origin of the features please contact us. Note that the rock upstream is stratified. The lower section has no obvious stratification. It is several feet off of the mountain route and does not appear to have been blasted during road construction.

The above feature is concaved from the apex at the upper right in photo. Linear dikes from direction of the apex are present with multiple dikes at a right angle to the apical point. It has a crucifirous central core with with voids between the bands. This is situated within a rounded base of ~280 degrees. The upper left quadrant is less defined.

The section of the outcrop shown above is rock, though it looks like tree trunks and roots. The "flows" fan from an apical point under the log while a truncated sample can be seen at top left in the photo.
The NG Stream site is shown at right. The lower two tiers rise about two meters, appear to be composed of quartzite related rock and appear to have no stratification.
The upper fall area has defined stratification.
No samples were collected from this area.
A "flow" section of the NG Site outcrop can be seen at left.
A sample of the outcrop was collected from the boxed area at far left. It is quite hard. A chisel was broken during collection.
